TiSkinMod Inverso

It's a mod based on KoL's port of Xanthic's great TiSkin for StyleXP and Uxtheme-patched WinXP-systems. Permissions from both are included, thx guys.

I made this version 1.0 so close as possible to the original, but one remaining textcolor-property couldn't be changed (take a look at display properties)... well, that's life - if someone knows a "how to", feel free to drop a note ;)

Inluded are a Winflag- and a Apple-startbutton-style with normal- and compact-startmenu-substyles!

Fluorescence6-wallie (made by Ryan Bliss @ digitalblasphemy.com) and dent-icons (made by dazzla) from the preview are not in the package - get them on your own, if you like them!

Special greetings are going out to CoolXP... without his awesome tut's and his help this mod were only a dream!

Please share your thoughts about this mod and happy dl'ing :)

cant seem to get visual styles to work on XP Pro 64bit? :(

There is not any problem with your work in itself, but rather with ANY VS using a black background.

Text files and the option dialogs of certain programs are instantly rendered blank or unusable, and the same goes for many of the webpages I regularly visit.

Otherwise your style looks great running at 1024 x 768, and is very professional in it's attention to fine detail.

BLACK IS THE PROBLEM, NOT YOUR WORK! :airborne:

great style

but I have problems with tooltips in Firefox.. they are invisible.. I have changed colors of tooltip and its okay..
:icondaikgd:
Which option dialogs and which programs programs exactly?
Are you using Microsoft Office? In the options-dialog there is the possibility to change the background and textcolor as you like!
And of course which webpages? Which browser you're using? Switch to author-mode instead of user-mode (it's working in opera).
:icondaikgd:
Do you have only probs with tooltips in firefox or also with other proggies ?
* default for tooltips is white textcolor on black background ;)

The problem is mainly with my text editor, EditPad Lite 5.4.5, and in my registry cleaner CCleaner 1.26.218. In EditPad Lite you can change the default text and background colour to compensate for this, but it is quite a shock when you first open what was an important text file. CCleaner's cleanup options dialog is completely blank, with the exception of the check boxes. I do not use Microsoft Word, other than to open existing documents online. I mainly use Mozilla Firefox 1.5 as my browser, but the same web pages (cannot remember exactly which pages they were), but it was the same problem with Internet Explorer 6 SP2. Does Firefox also have an author mode? I do not use Opera at all.
